This hotel closed for renovation in June 2011. Since that time the construction sign on the building shows that the building is being turned into 16 apartments and 2 mews houses. As of 2/15/13, it appears the hotel is gone for good.

I loved my stay here with its close proximity to Hyde Park. The room was excellent, clean, quiet and nice staff. The only con is that the location is not anywhere near the underground. However, that makes the area a bit less trafficked.

We stayed at this hotel twice. The first time we were on the top floor right outside the airconditioning which was very noisy. However, we were so tired from all the sightseeing, and the bed was so comfortable, we had a good night's sleep anyway. The second time we stayed we were upgraded to a junior suite which was amazing.... More

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very clean and the rooms were a good size. Short walk from museums, park and tubes. Comfy massive bed and I thought it was a fairly quiet location for London (not much in the way of road noise...) Would definitely stay there again. Good value for money :)

Stayed here two nights, lovely room with lots of space, nice breakfast, good location for travelling to go sightseeing and right next to the Royal Albert Hall to stay overnight after a concert. Opposite the park for taking a walk on a sunny afternoon - I'd stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel with my family (two kids 10 & 14) in the family room at the back (room E I think). This is quiet and isolated from the rest of the hotel and is very nice. The only issues were the plumbing and the creaking floorboards as mentioned in other reviews. This was only really a problem... More

Stayed here for 3 nights - primarily because of it's location to Royal Albert Hall (we had an incredible evening at Prom Praise on 2nd April). Have been to London a number of times but this was brilliant - gave us a different view of London entirely - Kensington to be exact. The spring bulbs and blossoms were a sight... More

I got an apartment suite which was quite huge, 2 bedrooms, fully equiped kitchen, living room. Standard quality, nothing special, bathroom small and quite old. Style overall old-fashioined. My sleeping room was on the front, which was aweful loud in the night. Did not sleep well.

I booked this as I was taking my mum to the Albert hall, we had a twin room which was very big and the bathroom was huge. The best thing about this hotel is it's location to the royal Albert hall and museums. It only a 5 mins walk to the hall and 10 mins to the natural history museum.... More
