We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Connaught hotel with afternoon tea , and what a lovely experience it was . The champagne , beautiful cakes and speciality teas were delicious , couldn't fault in anyway . All the staff were excellent as were the surroundings , would highly recommend and will definitely go back .

From the concierge to reception, restaurant and breakfast we experienced superb service - extremely professnal but friendly too, the perfect balance. This is a wonderful, traditional hotel in a great location. We found this to be a more relaxing and personal experience rather than some of the other well known hotels which can be a little 'brash'. We stayed with... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon tea at the Connaught yesterday, brilliant service and excellent food. Such a treat and I look forward to experiencing it again. They catered extremely well for lactose intolerance clients.

I am compelled to sing the praises of The Connaught. I travel constantly around the world, staying in the finest hotels for business. I was never able to find a hotel in London that I really liked- and now I am completely IN LOVE this hotel and the amazing staff-The Connaught is now my home away from home when in... More

Perfect!! Staff very helpful, rooms spacious and beautiful. Plus, they gave us free English Breakfast Tea in our rooms. The grand staircase was marvelous and I will definitely be returning. The Connaught is located centrally and there are cabbies waiting outside should you need to get anywhere far/fast, but everything is in walking distance.

Visited the Connaught for afternoon tea and could not fault it one bit. Plenty of choices for tea and sandwiches were replenished until we physically could not eat any more! A selection of fine cakes were after, then 2 home made scones! A choice of jam also. Staff were very attentive. You were allocated your table for 1.5 hours which... More

We spent a long weekend in January at the Connaught. We stayed in the main hotel, not the new more modern section. The room was lovely, albeit small and a bit underlit. The pros: location, service, bar, and character. The Cons: the bathroom floor was too hot, the room was very dark, shower leaked, and the afternoon tea was average... More

The Connaught was a pleasure for several reasons. I was there for a week and it really did become like home. In a sense I had my own Downtown Abbey. Staying on the first floor of this restored iconic hotel from the early 1900’s is a real plus. You can walk right up the grand staircase to your room and... More

This is a home away from home - a perfect combination of the old and the new. Staff are attentive to detail and there is no request too small. The location is superb, the surroundings are superb and it is a great comfort to know that your experience will always exceed your expectation. A must stay!
