I like this hotel - it’s no fuss but clean and relatively good value for london. Close to Paddington which is great for travel. I recommend it for a solo traveller - reason being rooms are small. I would say try and get a higher category room if possible. Staff are very friendly especially Lin who helped me check in and was so friendly.

Hotel's Favourite
Booked room for one night, last minute for nostalgia. First time using Inhabit Hotels. However, I have stayed at this Hotel site (different owners), Hotel was called New Atlantic Hotel back then, in 1995-1999. Stayed for several Years intermittently, for several months at a time, each time and Two years continuously. This Hotel was my home for several years and means a lot to me and staying here today, brings back so many happy memories for me. I had came back in 2017 (different owners again), when it was called Park Grand Hotel with fancy Chandeliers, but not as nice as it is now, with regards to room quality and presentation (as it was, half old and half new with Park Grand). Inhabit Hotel has done a complete overhaul, nothing is where it once was, not even the stairs leading to downstairs, and not even a downstairs (sad to see the Downstairs Bar and Pool table along with the communal TV and breakfast area disappear), however looks nicer now and would not be suitable for a Wellness focused Hotel, understandably. This hotel brand is so unique and different to other hotels and a billion times better now, compared to how it was then. Definitely worth the price, and the Hotel offers an exceptional wellbeing experience for the body and mind. Quality is million times better than other hotels near by or in London. Facilities are extremely clean and very eco-friendly to the environment (no plastic bin bags, paper used instead and water stations on each floor etc). Hotel is Yoga & Wellness/Wellbeing oriented and focused. Had dinner at the Hotel, which was amazing and healthy (and very tasty). I even booked (last minute) long massage, as I am so impressed and really want to experience everything this hotel has to offer now, along with spa facilities (no pool) which is free, however must be booked in-advance. Staff were fantastic, especially Kenocia. She attended to all needs and gave information and offered a 5 Star Customer Service experience and was extremely supportive and professional and most accommodating and knowledgeable. I even played a game with all the staff (one hand with a £20 note hidden inside it and one hand with £10 note hidden inside it, and made each staff choose a hand, to win a prize), this made the staff really happy and put a big smile on their faces, to appreciate the effort they each put into each customer, every time. Kenocia was the only one to win £20 and chosen correctly. I have stayed in over 500 hotels and I must say this is one of the best, if not the best place to stay in London with the Best Customer Service and for the Price and Great Location. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to everyone and to experience it, and then compare it to other Hotels within Bayswater or London.

Booked to stay whilst at a conference for two nights. Great location for arrival at Paddington but also access to Hyde Park/Kensington gardens and tube stations. Check in was fine, room upgraded free to larger room in the lower ground floor. No view but didn’t matter. Lovely bed, bathroom, tea coffee and water. I struggled with the heating but eventually got it. If you are looking for a chilled space in London this is the place for you.

Staff at reception upon arrival were very friendly, as was the gent who provided an iron and ironing board upon request. We booked a room for 1 night to see a show in London. Upon arrival we were advised that our room had been upgraded. We were placed in a room in the basement/lower ground of the building which had a frosted window to the outside which did not open. This made the room quite dark. The room was small but fine. We noticed quite quickly however that there appeared to be some kind of fly infestation around the window. I spent much of my time in the room squashing flies. I'm not too sure what the 'upgrade' entailed as the room was as expected. The room smelt absolutely fine upon arrival, however after taking a shower the room began to smell more and more of drains. Had we booked to stay for more than 1 night I would have insisted on a change in room, however it simply wasn't worth the trouble given that we were staying for less than 20 hours. I dont think we would be in a rush to stay again in all honesty. We didn't try the food or spa facilities so cannot comment.

The hospitality and the kindness of the staff will make you make feel so good. I want to thank specifically Avi for her service. She really made me comfortable and at ease. Als this very kind gentleman who was wearing glasses at the reception but I did not get his name. Thank you for your recommendation of that one restaurant.

Just OK. I'm not sure I would stay here again if I'm being entirely honest. Some of the things that just didn't quite work. 1. I was allocated a room with no window, I would have absolutely not booked this had a known that there was a chance of this and this should bepart of the booking process (like many other London hotels who give opitions of 'window' or 'no window' rooms, no window being cheaper!). Reception then put me on the 4th floor (after telling me they were fully booked) my heafboard was by the lift. The main lift was broken, and therefore, it didn't stop until after 12 and started again at 6 am, I was shattered for my work conference. 2. Some channels didn't work, annoyingly could not watch BBC breakfast. 3. Had a diffuser in the room, broken. 4. The smell coming from the shower was gross. 5. The bed was like sleeping on a floor. They need to get the basics right before trying to be a 'zen' hotel! I've attached a picture to give a realistic view from my room (I did manage a window after all!)

This is one of only a few hotels that I have started at (and there are many), where the pictures on the web site actually look like the hotel. Great location only a 5 minute walk from Paddington station, there are loads of places to eat on the doorstep. Rooms are great. Spacious, light, modern and clean. The breakfast is vegan only, so if you are looking for a traditional belly buster, look elsewhere. Be very careful if you have complimentary breakfast. You only get a very limited selection of strictly vegan options. If you want a glass of orange juice, you will need to fork out a hefty £7.31. The young lady on the breakfast bar was far from helpful and in dire need of a personality transplant. Think you need some hospitality training my friend!

Staff were very welcoming and they really made it a point to ask how you are when they see you. Rooms were always kept clean and fresh. I love their advocacy for taking care of the environment so it made sense that they have a water station to refill your room bottle and if you have one when you go out. Love that detail a lot. Area was also quiet despite it being 8 minutes away from one of the busiest stations - Paddington. Will definitely book again when I return to London :)
