Myself and my boyfriend stayed here March 2013. The hotel was clean and spacious and everything you would need to be a base for your trip in London. Being a Travelodge it is not a luxury hotel but if you are looking for a clean central hotel to explore London from then this will be fine for you. There are... More

This hotel was booked for a business trip and I stayed for 2 nights. When I walked into my room, the smell of bleach hit me. It was verging on smelling like a swimming baths. However, once inside the room was clean and spacious for a London hotel. + Large room. + Tea and coffee provided (Buy your own biscuits!)... More

Last time we visited the area we stayed at the Premier Inn around the corner, but on this occasion it had no rooms available so we decided to try the Travelodge. The location is good but we were disappointed with the room and service received. We arrived an hour before check-in and were told that they could not hold our... More

It's a Travel Lodge. Cheap without the cheerful. Bedrooms now have pictures on the wall which makes it feel less like a prison cell. Don't have the fruit juice at breakfast. I keep forgetting to take shampoo and have to wash myself with the worlds smallest bar of soap which doesn't lather.

Room 130 - Service from staff was excellent who were friendly, courteous and helpful at all times, the room was nice enough but let down severely by some of the items in it. The TV did not work (it basically seemed to posterise all images into 32 colours so was like watching a 70's acid trip), the shower was broken... More

I've stayed at this travelodge a few of times, when I went on my own I got a fantastic night's sleep in a double bed. However, when with my partner the bed just wasn't up to scratch, it was too springy and quite uncomfortable. Other than that, it is a very conveniently located hotel and a good price for a... More

Read mixed reviews about this hotel but decided the location was worth giving it a go. We were very pleased we did as I though it was an excellent find. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and is located a stones throw from Tower Bridge/Tower of London. We chose a room on the ground... More

Visited this past weekend. We had a ground floor room road side and pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. Bed was comfy, shower powerful and all in all exactly what we expected from a travelodge. Location was perfect, just a hop, skip and a jump from the Tower of London, St Katherine's Dock and the Bavarian Beerhouse. For £35... More

We had booked a twin room so we would have 2 beds and got a disabled room, which was huge and light and airy. The triple glazing windows and blackout blinds meant we had a wonderful quiet sleep. The guy on reception was friendly and gave us extra tea bags. The location was perfect and right next to the RV1... More

Ok - so we read the reviews. Fore warned-fore armed. Yes - the manager is very grumpy, it was if it was he really didn't care that we were there. Strange attitude to have if you are in the hotel business. I work in customer service, so it grated me a bit -But on arrival after asking for a higher... More
