Sitting somewhere between a boutique hotel, a B&B, a hostel and your mate's house, it's not going to appeal to everyone, but for me, it is - pound for pound - probably the best place you could stay in London. One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, to boot!

Stayed here 14/15 Jan - very nice, clean and tidy. We had the upstairs room off the kitchen and living area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and Ray (staff) is very friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed here as we were attending a friends birthday and were very happy with our choice as it felt like we were in a home from home. Very beautiful house, good architecture. Two rooms share a bathroom, others are en-suite. There is a large living-room with computer/internet, and an beautiful large wooden table. The room, shared bathroom and communal areas are quite nice if a little tired and initially we were quite pleased with our choice. We took this cash-only purchase (going blindly in) because of the location, which was great for our 3 nights, 2 full days in London. Bus stop is very close and tube is somewhat close in a relatively quiet neighborhood. After the first night, my wife (pregnant), because very congested and we attribute it to the overwhelming mold in the bathroom.... More
