The Blackburne Arms is well worth visiting. Excellent location in the best area of Liverpool. Service is personal and attentive. Food standard has improved beyond recognition due to new staff and revamped menus. Also you should look out for their live music nights. Excellent

Used to have a feel of a quality gastropub. Visited yesterday evening and I agree with the Peppin-Hugheses in it lacks any charm or friendly atmosphere. Seems to have reverted back to a basic boozer. What a shame.
