Great location, clean modern rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely use this hotel again in the future when visiting Liverpool. Close to Liverpool One shopping centre, the Cavern Quarter and Albert Docks and next door to the Slaughterhouse Pub which has a comedy club and live music on Friday nights.

For a city centre hotel this very good value for money. Quiet with a comfortable bed and friendly and obliging staff. Secure parking within walking distance. Great location for visiting Tate Liverpool.

Really enjoyed our stay at the heywood. It is central to all attractions & only minutes away from the docks. The room was extremely clean & comfy with nice decor. Staff really pleasant. I would recommend staying at the heywood.

The hotel was very well situated with regard to attractions, which were all nearby. Room was well furnished and decorated, with every facility we wanted. Staff were very good and we would use it again when we next visit.

WE stayed over the Easter break - 2 adults and 1 child. Despite checking in before 12, we were given our room straight away which was a big plus. Staff was excellent, rooms are very small but clean and nicely updated. Area seemed a little seedy but was close to waterfront. Close to some good restaurants. Loved Liverpool. Shopping was great. If I go back I think I would stay on the waterfront

The hotel was well located and reasonably priced. However, the bathroom was showing its age with mould in the grout and a loose shower door that caused some difficulty when when trying to get into/out of the shower. Fairtrade tea and coffee would have been good addition.
