For the fourth year running we took a group of 48 to The Blue C for a turkey and tinsel break. The food and hospitality was second to none. The hotel overlooks the sea and is far enough away from the centre but not to far to walk if you want to. We have already booked our group in for... More

Stayed start of November in family room 2 nights DBB, after reading great reviews in here and other sites, also viewing impressive hotel website. Dissapointed upon arrival that reception looks tatty, wellworn carpet, so if you arrived without a booking, this would put you off enquiring further. The owner was friendly and gave us key, room was on 1st floor,... More

Ann was brilliant when I had to phone her and tell her we'd be arriving late for check in, she told us it would be her hubby. Hubby was curteous and very sweet. he told us what time breakfast was and left us to it. We had a twin room with a sea view, the room was spacious and had... More

I stayed here for just one night (Saturday) in late September during the Illuminations. The Hotel is right on the Promenade, with sea views. It's near the "Cabin" Tram Stop, just before Bispham, so it's within the Illuminations area; but it's away from the noise of the pubs and clubs. I booked at short notice and asked for a quiet... I stayed in this hotel as an off chance, I was driving past, booked in for the night, and left early so can't comment to much on the runnings of the hotel. I didn't eat. I paid £27 for one nights bed. the people that run it seem nice and friendly, the hotel rooms do need updating, but they are... More

I have stayed in lots of b&bs over the years and in different locations but this one stands out by far, for all the right reasons. The location is fantastic, out of the way but not too much. The owner (think she is called Anne) is an absolute Gem! Friendly, genuine, welcoming and full of charm. The cooked breakfast was... More
