I would recommend Rockside Guest House to anyone, Caroline and Martin were very welcoming, the room was clean and very well decorated. a comfy bed, a lovely breakfast. Close proximity to the train station, and just a short walk to Windermere and Bowness. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent guest house. We stayed for two nights and can only say everything was first class. Caroline was very nice and provided us with a superb english breakfast, there was also a variety of many healthy alternatives of home made jams preserves and even cereals. We stayed there in easter holiday. Its nice location of the hotel with free parking and internet access. Very near to Indian & Continental Restaurant. 15 minutes walk to Lake. Easy access to all the local amenities. Provide full english breakfast. All rooms have different theme and color. Nice and beautiful room. We had very nice experience. Thanks.
