We stayed at The Ravensworth for 3 nights over the bank holiday. I can honestly say it was one of. if not the best guest house/hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in.... the owners are very welcoming, the room was lovely and clean. the breakfast staff are excellent and very friendly. the breakfast was cooked to perfection........ “Great location, welcoming and homely”

My boyfriend and I have just left this guest house and we were delighted with the warm welcome from Mike. The location is fantastic with the centre just a short walk away. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very pleasant. We would definitely return.

We spent two nights at the Ravensworth. Everything was first rate and the location was near to the heart of Windermere for easy walking to restaurants and shopping. And, ample parking!! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

“Lovely, helpful hosts but cramped room”

Spent four of the five nights we had booked here last week. Location very good and convenient to centre, rail and bus services. Hosts very welcoming but our super-king sized room was tiny - hardly any hanging space in odd shaped eaves wardrobe and only space for jumpers was on windowsill. What a beautiful place and pleasant accomodation. Nick and Cherly are both such lovely people who clearly enjoy their job of making people feel at ease. “Ravensworth ? Worth every penny !!”

From the moment you arrive this is a relaxing experience in a quality guest house. Nick gets the kettle on and Cheryl's lemon drizzle cake was superb !! I could not fault the place, the rooms are spacious, the bed's comfortable and the breakfast varied and of high quality. We definitely fancy coming back for another visit.
