My best friend and I stayed at the Mews for a two night stay and we were welcomed with warmth and charm. Mavis and Nev were really attentive and super friendly. Theyalso doubled up as excellent tour guides as they helped us plan our days out, with their excellent knowledgeof the Lakes. Definitely recommended!

I can't really say a bad thing about The Mews. It's near the station so it's easy to get to with your luggage. Mavis is a wonderful hostess, extremely knowledgeable and helpful about the area and the walks/activities.
