Third visit to rose cottage, kitti is an excellent hostess, always has a smile for you, cooks a wonderful breakfast and the location is first class. I spent a night with two friends, and we fell in love with this place. The breakfast is amazing, and Kitti (the owner) is really nice and helpful. Besides, it's located next to the lake and in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere. I recommend it for couple visitors, or family.

Small and quiet hotel at bowness on windermere, few steps from the lake shore... the rooms are cosy and warm...breakfast includes all you need...there are pubs and restaurants for an evening out...the host ketty is very caring and nice! overall good value hotel...

What a perfect place to stay! Right in the centre of Bowness with free parking available on the pay and display car park around the corner.
