The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Recently renovated bathroom was excellent. Able to upgrade to a four-poster inexpensively upon our arrival since it wasn't reserved. Location is quiet, though walking up the hill from Bowness center is not for the faint at heart. Would stay there again if we return to Bowness. Stayed 4 nights. More

We left our car here to start with while we walked part of the Dales Way and were offered a welcome tray of tea while we waited for our taxi. Then arriving back 3 days later we were made equally welcome with well apppointed rooms and delicious breakfasts. All very clean and warm. Good value and highly recommneded. More
