Since there wasn't a Premier Inn nearby we thought we would take a chance with a Travelodge. Thankfully before committing to the stay we asked to see a room, after being escorted to a standard room, we turned tail and ran. Don't stay here, take a little more time and drive into Glenridding or another nearby location.

we usually stay in premier inns which are always dependable, but as there isn't one in penrith we opted for the travel lodge stayed one night only, never again. dirty and unkempt, had to ask for towels and pillows. dreadful!!!!! if it hadn't been for the late hour we would have moved on.
