We have just returned from 3 nights at Cragwood and had a great time. Diane & Gary are wonderful hosts and make you very welcome. The breakfasts are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble - thank you Diane for Dave's birthday breakfast.....a great start to his birthday. We travelled with another couple and all of us would not hesitate... More

We booked in here with a couple of friends after our usual location was fully booked and without a doubt we will be coming back. We received the warmest of welcome with an offer of help with our luggage and a welcome pot of tea and home-make cake after our 3 hour journey. The rooms were beautifully presented, warm and... More

What a great find. Made to feel very welcome by the hosts with real coffee on arrival. We stayed in the Skiddaw room which was very clean, warm (it was blowing a gale outside) with a spotless, modern bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast was good and made from local produce. Will definitely return in the future. Phil & Sally,... More

We stayed in the Skiddaw room from 15th-18th March. I found Cragwood, after the B&B we usually use was fully booked, and what a great find it was. Diane greeted us with a very warm welcome and the offer of homecake cake, which was delicious. The room was spacious, comfortable, a home from home almost, with a great modern en-suite.... More

Di and Gary made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. A pot of tea, and Di’s gorgeous homemade cake got the cold out of our bones. We stayed in the Walla Crag room which was exactly as described and as shown in the photo on their website. It was immaculate. What you can’t see... More

Stayed here in the Skiddaw room in early February. Everything was perfect and could not be faulted in any way. We have a touring caravan so don't usually bother with b&bs, we'd met Gary and Diane in a local pub just after they moved in, they've done a great job with the refurbishment. If any place could tempt us out... More

My husband and myself stayed at Cragwood B n B for two nights taking into account New Years Eve. My first point is that a lot of B and B.s will only take a booking for three nights over New Year which does not suit everyone so a big thankyou to them for that. We received such a lovely welcome...
