Just come back from a weekend at the New Dungeon Ghyll. The room was very clean and warm. The equipment in the room was very good. Food in the restaurant was very good and priced reasonable. On the Saturday night there was entertainment in the walkers bar which was very good

This hotel is amazing. The rooms, the garden, the staff and the food are all great. Plus you simply cannot beat the location. We stayed in room 14 which had an excellent view of the garden and the little hill behind!!

Several Langdale hikes start right from the hotel and the view from any room is spectacular. I am glad the hotel is not just serving pub food and you sit on stools, although there is a walker's bar.
