Just popped in forlunch after my hols in the Lakes following a walk in the area. Had a lovely braised steak with new potatoes and veg. Absolutely excellent plus water and biscuits provided for my dog. I will be back.

We have just spent three nights at the watermill with our 2 year old Labrador. We stayed in room 1 which was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated and had one double bed and one pull out bed. Went here on Sunday for a late lunch good menu and specials board lovely pint , nice surroundings good place to stop of going in or out of the lakes for a tasty snack or meal. We are local to the lakes and I do like to help these pubs promote good food and drink.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary with our 7 month old springer spaniel. I cannot fault it one bit. rooms were very clean, light and airy. Staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was faultless! Our dog was welcome in the bar and also whilst we ate. we can't wait to come back!!!
