I stayed here for one night, the price paid was peanuts, I have no complaints. Swift booking and standard Travelodge practices. Central location, ideal when visiting Canterbury. Excellent stay. I have no complaints.

Stayed at TL for 2 nights, ideally situated. Easy walking into Canterbury, and parking reasonable. Although we had prepaid for the breakfasts I wouldn't do this again. The breakfasts were very basic and you good get more choice in town. The room was clean and large. Staff very friendly and helpful, will recommend this TL and hopefully stay again.

OK this is a Travelodge, so don't expect toiletries and lavish furnishing and as I paid just £15 for a double room - I have no problem with that at all. If you want to be pampered, pay the extra ££s and go elsewhere. Our room had a lovely view of the Cathedral, and the hotel is ideally situated just... More

This was a very unpleasant experience. This used to be a lovely hotel until Travelodge ruined it. The towels were thin and hard, the bed was hard. There was no hairdryer. The room was very bare, the window ledge was rotting. The bar of soap was small, thin, hard and gritty, with an unpleasant smell and no foam. There were... More

I paid for a double room and was allocated a single room due to the overbooking policy this cheap brand of hotel seems to employ. I was then informed that I would then be duly compensated with a money off voucher for future visits but this has yet to materialise (after the reception told me that I would receive an... More

This is a travelodge which is not like the usual blocks built at the side of a main road but resides in what was once a proper hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy, the safe are very polite and useful. a few niggles, If you are on the ground floor you can hear virtually everything going on above you.... More

People moan about the lack of luxury, but this is a budget hotel, and it is great value with a superb location. Easy walking to all attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel and room were really clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was substantial and help yourself buffet style. The room was a bit cold, but we got an extra... More

Excellent location if you’re going out in Canterbury as its only 5 min walk into town, 10-15 mins from railway station. We were four girls down in Canterbury for a birthday night out. We shared a family room and it only cost £35! A bargain! The room was made up of a double bed, a pull out bed which made... More
