upon arrival there was a greeting to rival all greetings, we were made to feel welcome from the start, the room was a little on the small side, but clean and tidy and everything we needed for a weekend break, the food was very good and well presented and all of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too... Pros - Upon arrival we were upgraded to Room 25 on third floor. Absolutely fantastic views over the Solent, particularly at night. The king size bed was enormous and we had a really good nights sleep, flat screen tv with inbuilt DVD, the room was comfortable very clean and warm. Bathroom wasn't particularly modern but was spotless. The restaurant wasnt... More

Jenny & Mark the owners, are wonderful, friendly people. I had a two night break away with my sister, upon arrival we were upgraded to the king size suite with sea view, it was such a lovely room. The cooked breakfast was fantastic, you must try the locally sourced sausages, Mmmmmmm. Take a walk along the beach promenade to Gun... More

I returned to the Seacrest after my last stay and I must say that this time was just as enjoyable, if not better. Super clean bedrooms and bathrooms, wonderful staff and a good breakfast. Terrific! More

We've just returned for a one day stay at The Seacrest. The location is good, lovely seaviews for which we paid extra. It is furthest end from Gun Wharf, a very breezy almost 2 miles along scenic seafront into Portsmouth. On arriving we were informed we'd been upgraded to a superior room - we paid £75 for 1 night for... More

Stayed there one night this week. The reception and all other staff were friendly and helpful, could not be faulted. The room was clean and tidy, nicely decorated and the bathroom was identical. I was lucky enough to have a room at the front of the hotel and I'm sure in summer it would have a great view of the... More

Our holiday in southern UK had a historical, and "old" bias, so the Seacrest didn't quite fit the bill, but we knew this beforehand. It was, nonetheless, very good value for money, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant, and has a lift. It also has free parking and free wi-fi. If... Internet Photos Give Misleading Impression Of Room Standards And Imply All Rooms Are Fully Refurbished To A Similar Level. Certain Bedroom Furnishings Are Dated And En-Suite Facilities Are 70s Era With Drain Smells To Match. The Reception Area Is Not Just Tired But Worn Out, Although The General Level Of Cleanliness Appears To Be Of A Good Standard. Cannot Comment... More
