This was only a one night stop but what a treat, the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. They accommodated our every need. The room was lovely and the spa bath was excellent, especially as my partner had ordered champagne and chocolates to accompany the evening. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

We stayed at the Clarence after a week's sailing in the Solent and were very impressed. The manager, Paula, was very friendly and helpful with advice on bars and restaurants. The room was comfortable and the full-English breakfast the next morning was delicious (and not too greasy). All in all, an excellent choice in Portsmouth.
