We stayed for three nights and enjoyed wonderful hospitality - staff efficient, welcoming and friendly, food delicious, and room cosy and comfortable. As an old coaching inn the hotel has a lovely atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return.

Booked one night DBB rate, very friendly and attentive staff, room was clean, bed exceptionally comfy. The garden is hidden away and sitting outside with one of two well kept beers was a real treat. The only issue was choosing what to eat off the menu, difficult decisions as all dishes were appealing. I will stay again but in the winter to be able... More

Have stayed at this Hotel twice. Firstly in August 2012 and again in April 2013. What a cracking place. Old wonky doors and out of plumb walls in a building full of character that's typical of an old coaching inn. Blazing fire, great bar, superb breakfast, great evening meals and wonderfully comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and efficient and... More

Twin room was large and quiet and comfortable. Bathroom a little tired but the huge fluffy towels more than made up for it. all of the... More

Just spent three very happy nights here. The hotel is very comfortable and full of character and charm. The staff are extremely hard-working, cheerful and friendly. The food is really good as is the attentive service. We feel well-rested and refreshed after our short break and will be recommending it to all our friends.
