Great hotel, great location. Staff were very friendly & helpful. I telephoned to make the booking when asked if we could book in early due to a wedding we were attending staff were very accommodating allowing us to check in early. Breakfast was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is perfect, as it's within easy reach of the town centre. There is also ample parking, which is useful. Our room was spacious, if a little dark - it could do with a central light fitting, really. The location is as described; just five minutes stroll into town (an excellent town by the way) with free parking. Staff were welcoming and helpful from the outset. This hotel has such a lovely atmosphere. The small bar area and restaurant had a relaxed feel. The service was excellent. I would love to stay here again. There is plenty of parking space and you are in a central location. The food was very good along with a good wine selection.

We stayed here over a Friday and Saturday night, and overall it was a nice stay. The staff were all excellent and the hotel itself is decent, with a bar that has real ale. A rarity in any hotel.
