I reserved a room for my family (2 Adults 2 kids) just after Easter. We stayed for two nights, the room was warm and cosy with big windows and a large bathroom with a powerful shower-hose, the kids had a separate room. We didn't use the downstairs restaurant as we used to leave early and coming late in the evening... More

Popped in during a cold winter walk, and staff could not have been more welcoming. It was lunchtime so we decided to try the fish finger sandwiches and some local beer! Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, and our 2 Labradors were totally spoilt by all the staff...so much so we ended up lingering much longer than intended! A... More

We visited for lunch expecting to have a snack as we were cooking a planned meal in the evening. I ordered a sandwich and my husband a spicy chicken with flatbreads and a side of fries to share. The food was delicious with very high quality ingredients, and big portions. I couldn't finush mine and ended up picking out the... More

Stayed here with 2 friends to visit Christmas market. Only one night so the simple, clean accommodation promised would have been fine. Sadly it was filthy and the welcome was non existent. We didn't bother complaining as the Manager had already shown he didn't really care and we had paid in advance - we just got out of there as... More

Thanks for that. It does seem strange that it's taken three months to review my b&b. However, your points are ( mostly ) well made. The shower door in question has since been replaced ( we are sometimes at the mercy of our landlords ) and I have taken issue with my housekeeping staff, following your photos, which i would... More

I stayed here with 3 mates for 3 nights during this years Cheltenham Festival. Mark, Justin, Clare and the rest of the staff (plus Franklin & Bob) could not have made us more welcome. The rooms were clean and well serviced, the shower was excellent. Breakfast was huge and very good. The pub is in an excellent location in town... More

This pub serves up a great combination of good quality real ales and traditional pub food. Really nice layout and atmosphere inside. Beer garden at the back is nice in a hot day. Been back twice now in visits to Cirencester and would go back.

THis was an awessome place to stay. There were 3 adults and we had a separate bedroom, and a bed in the lounge area. Plenty of space and big bathroom.. Mark, Claire and the staff ensured we had a great time. Food was excellent. Fantastic english breakfasts and great dinners. Right in the heart of Cirencester. Highly recommend the Golden... More

I stayed for the weekend in Cirencester with my mum and very much enjoyed our stay, will definitely stay here again when we return to the Cotswolds. My mother is partially-sighted and all the staff were very helpful from the beginning: letting us know where we could park and assisting us to our room. We booked late and stayed in... More

Couldn't fault anything. The room was spot on along with the food. Stayed in a few b&b's on business trips and loved it.
