Room OK and bed fairly comfy but bathroom very small, needing decorating and a deep cleaning. Very tricky entrance in to and out of car-park onto main road. We stayed as part of our travels along the Way. Room was large, beds comfy and the space was clean. Landlord of the pub was very welcoming - carvery for dinner was lovely, breakfast good and we even got a packed lunch. More

The staff was friendly and helpful, even entertaining. The carvery was wonderful--the best turkey I've had in a long time including the last one I roasted myself, other meats, and a large selection of vegetables. We stopped here on Wednesday for a carvery lunch on our way from Lewis. The beef looked like burnt leather so we opted for white meat and gammon. The white meat was so dry and tasteless that we didn't know whether it was chicken or pork. The gammon was reasonably cooked on the outside but almost raw in the middle.... More
