Location, location, location..it's in the heart of Brighton and on the club strip...it's cheap, I paid £19 a night...BUT the three nights I stayed mid-week were the worst 3 nights sleep I can say I've had. Mattress terrible, saggy, soft, if there are two of you you'll both end up in the middle. Bad back ache every morning and as...

Our experience was a two nights stay in November 2012. We shared a double room: it was noisy throughout the night. Breakfast was average. Our corridor and room had been cleaned but there were still dingy bits and obvious marks of much hard wear. The broken toilet was not repaired despite being notified to staff. One low point was the...

our bed was dirty on the first night and had to change rooms when i had unpacked. The 2nd room was just as bad as the plug for the heating was sparking and was very dangerous so we had to turn off the heating because we did not want to change room again. Nightclubs all around the hotel, drunk people...

I have stayed here before and used them again for 1 night. I had room 118 which is a big family room, so perfect for just me. I could not fault cleanliness in any way shape or form. Everything was very very clean.
I didnt eat in the Bar Café this time as I was in Brighton for a party...

Travelodge, in my...

Do not pay more than 19 pounds per night for a room as the Premier Inn on North St is much better. If you do stay here, note the following:
Most rooms are tiny and have no bath. Crap shower curtain = mouldy and peeling floor.
Not even up to normal Travelodge decor standards (that's saying something).
Noisy all week...

TV - only the basic 5 channels, not as advertised. Speakers in tv did not work properly, someone had probably blown them.
Shower only in our room, no bath - however the sign says if you want towels changed leave them in the bath so i'd imagine there are some baths!
I would imagine the road facing rooms would be...

This is very simple.
If you want a quiet, relaxing, luxurious Spa retreat break this IS NOT for you.
If you want a relatively basic hotel, slap bang in the middle of the nightlife, (nightclub next door)with Eastern European pleasant staff, no mod cons, large , sometimes noisy, party groups this is for you.
