We had a great time at Guest and the City with Mardi and Dan. They were both excellent hosts from the minute we got there. The breakfast was great, the rooms are well designed and clean. All you want really and just couldn't fault it! We're both looking forward to going back :) Jeremy & Amee More

We had a fabulous stay at Guest and the City; Mardi and Dan were fantastic hosts sharing their knowledge and passion for Brighton. The B&B epitomises Brighton being cool and chic and is perfectly located. The breakfast was great setting us up for the day. Highly recommended, Ed & Sandy, Kent More

Well located B&B on the sea front, in Kemp Town and a few minutes stroll to the main centre. Good rooms, modern, clean and well appointed, and hosts were fantastic, really passionate about their service which is great to see. Great breakfast too. Thank youDefinitely a repeat trip. More

My boyfriend and I decided on a last minute Friday night in Brighton last week and stayed in the mini double room. The others all looked great but they were booked up. It’s a cosy and very comfy room and was all that we needed for an overnight stay. The location is perfect and we followed recommendations from Dan for... More

We arrived on a very wet and cold Saturday and got the warmest of welcomes from Dan and Mardi. They went out of their way to recommend places to go and were very informative. We stayed in the loft room which whilst small is well equipped and clean and if you are in Brighton you are not going to be... More

Stayed at Guest and The City the weekend before Xmas for a girls weekend away. Having stayed in hotels normally in Brighton we thought we would opt for a Guesthouse this time and we chose this one based on location and Trip Advisor reviews. Very easy to find and we managed to get parked in the next street along on... More

Stayed for 2 nights in January 2012. Dan and Mardi, the owners, are great hosts, interested in making sure their guests get the very best out of their visit to the B&B and to Brighton in general. We stayed in a loft room, which was very very small, but had everything you need for a short stay. My OH is... More

Hi guys. Thank you very much for your review. The "Loft" doesn't suit everyone, especially the tall but it is great for groups of four who are definitely not planning on spending much time in their rooms but out enjoying Brighton, especially with the added space of the kitchenette on the landing. The Feature rooms are our biggest rooms so... More

We had a fantastic stay at Guest and the City. It was beautiful and quirky and the perfect place to stay in Brighton. Dan and Mardi were really helpful, and provided a great service. We stayed in one of the feature rooms with the stained glass windows, which was an added bonus, but the whole place had great decor and... More

The owners of this B&B, Dan and Mardi, ensure that you enjoy Brighton as much as you want to. We received a very friendly welcome from Dan and Mardi and they provided us with a map and recommendations based on what we wanted to do on our weekend away. Their recommendations couldn't be knocked and neither can they. They work... More

There are so many good things to say about this place. Lovely hosts who were consistently friendly and helpful, delicious and plentiful breakfast and the place is spotlessly clean. Even parking wasn't a problem with the help of the permits provided by Dan and Mardi. However, the double room - en suite (not the mini double room!) was tiny. In... More

Hi guys. Thank you very much for your review. Yes, our Double ensuite rooms are definitely cosy and our Feature rooms at the front of the guest house are our bigger rooms with the sea view and balconettes. If you are staying longer than a couple of nights then we suggest you book a feature room for comfort. However, as... More
