First time at Bodgers Farm B&B, what a great place to stay. Kate and Howard make you feel very welcome. The location is ideal as it is in a quiet area away from town centre noise and no passing traffic. Nothing was to much trouble. As I only have a light breakfast the choice was excellent, especially Howards home made... More

Visited Kate and Howard's BB over the Easter weekend and had a great time. They are very warm and welcoming people and the breakfast was excellent. I was on a fishing trip and took my dog with me who had great fun playing with their puppy. Coming from London, it was nice to wake up to birds singing as opposed... More

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Bodgers Farm Pottery. Kate and Howard were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast really set us up for day.

A hectic tour combining stressfull business with visits to family and friends. Then we arrived at Bodgers and everything calmed down. Peaceful. Immaculate. Efficient. Friendly (but not "in your face"). A breakfast to trigger the diet commitment - the bread was even still hot. Even Howards short-cut route to Stansted worked perfectly. We didn't get lost once. Howard and Kate... More

Stayed here with my wife and our dog and we were all impressed. I've stayed in lots of different accommodation on business and this is right up amongst the best on every measure. Friendly, helpful, lovely breakfast and lunch, dog friendly and lots of nice personal touches. We had pottery tuition too and really enjoyed learning in a relaxed environment... More

Great bed, great breakfast. What more can one want? A seriously good b and b in the most tranquil of settings with the most wonderful hosts. We would happily recommend Bodgers farm to anyone, except when we need to stay there. When you find somewhere this good do you recommend it to all and sundry or keep it to yourself?... More

I won't reiterate what is on the owners' website with its pictures. I stayed here for 4 nights. There are 2 guest bedrooms, one with double bed and one twin bedded. When other guests unexpectedly booked, I was happy to change rooms, which gives me the chance to report on both. Neither has a wash basin, but there is a... More

My fiance and I stayed here in February 2012 to escape the stress of London for a night. Bodgers Farm turned out to be the perfect choice - it is in a remote and peaceful location, and the only noise is the sound of birds singing. I have come back home feeling completely de-stressed and ready to face the rush... More

I have stayed at Bodgers for many years in January and cannot praise Howard and his wife enough. the rooms are a good size and the location is private and very quiet. I look forward to Howrds home baked bread in the mornings and the overall friendly atmosphere makes for a pleasant stay. I shall continue to stay at Bodgers... More
