Went with Shearings Holidays for a three night, four day weekend break. This is one of their Coast and Country hotels. When we arrived in reception to check in, I had the feeling of a friendly hotel straight away. I know this sounds a bit strange, but that's the way it was. The public areas looked really nice and comfortable... More

Just returned from a 3 day break and must say how we enjoyed our stay. We went with 14 others and were able to have our meals together despite coming and going at different times one evening. Our room was ground floor, spacious bathroom although the bath/shower was quite high to get into! There was however a bath mat so... More

Despite the 3 stars on the board at the entrance, this hotel was disappointing, and failed on a number of important counts. On the plus side, we were allocated the family room on the first floor. It was large and roomy, and by the top of a short flight of stairs. But it was not the cleanest, and the bathroom... More

We stayed at this hotel over the May Bank holiday weekend. We found the staff pleasant and friendly, always with a smile for you. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the garden which was lovely. There was a balcony which was a nice surprise and the view over the garden to the sea beyond was great. The room was... More

Just returned from a two night weekend break at the Savoy. Booked a standard room but was upgraded to a family room which was very large. Room was clean and bright with a comfortable bed. Stayed at the Savoy 22nd - 26th April. Our standard twin room was large and clean with a view directly onto a wall which carried the kitchen ventilation pipes and a partial view of the hotel car park...not great but then how much time do you actually spend in the room? The en suite was unbelievably small with a walk... More
