Paul and Lorraine offer the friendliest welcome we've ever received when staying at Torquay. The room we stayed in was a really nice size and very clean. Breakfast is fantastic, the full English is superb, with plenty of juices and cereals also. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Westgate.

We had a wonderful stay, interesting talks, good ciders at the bar, great breakfast, a lovely room and we enjoyed an evening with the host and an episode of Fawlty Towers. We are looking forward to visiting again.

We had a great time in Torquay and the Westgate was part of that weekend. The service and rooms were excellent as was the superbly cooked English breakfast. Cannot find fault and would definitely recommend a stay at the Westgate.

A very warm welcome from Paul when my husband and i arrived with our two mothers for the weekend, we were offered refreshments after our journey and helped with our luggage. The rooms are lovely very clean and very comfortable beds and the breakfast excellent. I highly recommend this gem on the English Riviera and will return.

Paul and Lorraine make your stay very comfortable here. Nothing too much bother for them, rooms very comfortable, breakfast great and evening meal is available when booked in the morning....... And parking which was a real bonus! Would def stay again!
