Adam and his wife greeted us warmly and we had a great time staying at the Cimon, the rooms are lovely fresh and clean, they also do an amazing breakfast all freshly cooked. It's in a brilliant position in Torquay for walking into town so you do not need to worry about parking. I can honestly say you will have... More

We spend two nights at the Cimon with a group of friends and the hospitality was second to none. Great facilities, perfect location for access to Torquay and the surrounding areas - superb breakfast - highly recommended.

We needed to find a hotel well positioned in Torquay for a weekend break which would accommodate us and our 3 young children altogether. The Cimon fitted the bill perfectly with their large family room. We had a double room with sitting room and sofa bed and adjoining bunk bedded room for our youngest children plus 2 ensuites, and a... More

Booked last minute and was not disappointed. Great hosts, friendly with lots of local knowledge and advice. As I am 38 weeks pregnant, Lovely to be upgraded to a superior room on the ground floor which gave lots if space and no stairs to deal with. Hotel is in a great location, in walking distance to beach, harbour, shops and... More

We stayed for a week using Torquay as a base. The Cimon has a car park which was a plus point as often parking in seaside resorts can be difficult. Adam the proprietor was helpful and knowledgeable. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were some of the best we have ever had. The cooked breakfast was always cooked... More

We made a last minute decision to head to Torquay for a weekend break. We called the hotel directly and they were very helpful. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the Torquay train station, up a hill and there are pretty views of the coastline. There is also ample parking for those who arrive by car. When we... More

Very accommodating and lovely place to stay. Brilliant breakfasts. Really close to centre. Owner is a great promoter of local businesses and very knowledgeable of good places to visit and places to eat. Would highly recommend.

My mother, sister and I recently stayed at The Cimon for two nights and I would highly recommend this Hotel. The rooms were clean and freshly decorated and the beds very comfy. It is close to the centre of Torquay with a short walk down to the Harbour and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked, the choice could... More

Got back today from a relaxing break in Torquay thanks to 'The Cimon'. Firstly, I'll get the only slight negative out of the way. I booked a sea view double room, which is exactly what I got. The views were absolutely amazing from our bay window, the room was decorated very well and spotlessly clean but the room wasn't as... More

Thanks Emma, I'm really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Anita cooks everything to order for breakfast (within reason), no soggy bacon and rubbery eggs here and definitely nothing out of a tin except the beans! It's nice to know people appreciate all the effort she puts in. I hope to see you again, book with us directly next time and... More
