My family have just returned from a week's holiday at the hotel thanks to the charity. Luke and the Tillen family made us very welcome and looked after us very well. The hotel has a warm and friendly ambience and is very clean throughout. Food was good and plentiful. There was entertainment on most nights, due to a young child... More

My daughter and I visited the hotel with her sick child who has leukemia and was able to have a holiday thanks to the Foundation. The host was amazing, and treated everyone like a very special guest. Food was good and great atmosphere. Many return visitors due, no doubt, to the incredibly dedicated host family.

We go back every year to the De la Mer and this hotel has that good British holiday feel to it. In BABACOOMBE and the welcome from the Tillen family owners is great just like the food. We liked the fact that it was close to many local attractions, walking distance to 'Bygones/cliff railway, Hanburys fish and chips, Angels tea... More

I have recently returned from a 4 night coach trip staying at this establishment (7/3/13-11/3/13), and it's safe to say that despite my apprehenshions about staying in such a small hotel, my concerns were unfounded. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, e.g. when i arrived the room i had been booked into had a problem with the shower,... More

Stayed for 2 nights with a coach trip. I was with my disabled partially sighted, disabled mam, and sister. We were warmly welcomed by Luke and family which I think was a lovely start to our break. We were allocated rooms on the ground floor as requested. They were spotless, and i loved the warm homely quaintness of them. The... More

Stayed for one night only in this Hotel in December 2012 on a Coach trip weekend. The food was plain but delicious and lots of it. The Staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. The Hotel had won awards for their Christmas decorations and I'm not surprised because it was absolutely wonderful. Every room was full of many beautiful decorations to... More
