We stayed for 3 nights in a one bedroom self-catering apartment which is located inside the hotel complex, and was very comfortable and a good size for 3 people. Another enjoyable weekend in Torquay! We try to get away for a few days around Easter every year and one of the TLH hotels is always our destination. The staff were great and the food was lovely however The Victoria Hotel does need some TLC.

Positives: very clean rooms and friendly staff so the staff should give themselves a gold star. Negatives: they don't think about the small sinple things like supplying a tea spoon to stir ur coffee or a sugar bowl , lack of choice of coffee in room, bread rolls instead of crossings for continental breakfast. This was our annual visit for a hosted dance week-end in the Warwick Ballroom. Friday and Saturday evening in the ballroom was as good as usual. On Sunday we decided to visit the Starlight Lounge for "family entertainment". Very disappointing. The programme said children's entertainment till 9-00pm. At 10-00pm they were still being encouraged onto the dance floor!!!
