Fantastic location right by the harbour. The hotel is a little threadbare throughout with dated (and not in a good way) fixtures and fittings. Car parking is limited: during busy periods arrive early or park on the street. If you do have to park on the street, it's free from mid afternoon until midday the next day. Alternatively, there's a... More

I hadn't been back to this hotel for a good 5 years and didn't know quite what to expect. What I did get was a spotlessly clean and very comfortable, traditional hotel, with excellent food and friendly, attentive staff. The menu choice is very good, with home cooked food and provided they are given sufficient notice, will accomodate for gluten/wheat... More

We did enjoy our stay at this hotel, and as we were there for just one night, it worked well for us. Good points: Quaint hotel Fantastic position in the middle of things Fabulous views Friendly restaurant staff Clean throughout Spacious restaurant Lovely quaint front facing room...with sloping floors! Beautifully tasty evening meal in the restaurant - Fish pie is... More

Firstly let's get perspective, this is a review of a 2 star hotel, if you expect Ritz luxury or Michelin gourmet - read no further. If your looking for a welcoming stay in a spotlessly clean room complimented by attentive staff read on! The hotel is positioned centrally in the small seaside town of Lynmouth. We visited as a party... More

We did not stay at the Bath Hotel whilst in Lynmouth, but dined there a couple of times during our week long holiday. There is a nice sitting out area with a nice view (shame it is on the side of the road), and on both occasions we were more than satisfied with the menu choice. They cater for vegetarians... More

The "welcome" beggered belief - we had to wait about 10 minutes only to be greeted by someone who was thoroughly miserable and uninterested. The room had the basic facilities but everything was dated including an old CR TV. Great nearby pubs and a beautiful location helped mitigate our disappointment. We were surprised to find the shops closing early in... More

Great location, really friendly and helpful staff. We had a free upgrade with views over the harbour which made our short break even better. The bedroom was large with a small but adequate bathroom, only downside was no digital TV. The hotel welcomes dogs and will set up a table for breakfast in the gallery (they are not allowed in... Loveley character hotel, If your expecting Premier Inn don't go. Staff very good and friendly. Special thanks to the receptionist who went out of his way to help us get our luggage from the car to the room and back. He was always lovely to use and our dog More

Arrived at the Bath Hotel late in the afternoon after deciding not to travel to our intended destination. Saw a sign on the main road offering an excellent rate. Room was large and comfortable. Hotel was a little like Fawlty Towers in age and appearance, but not run as such!. Only thing to criticise is the rubber hose attachment from... More
