This is a lovely hotel situated in the centre of Exeter. We had a family room which was beautifully furnished with some lovely antiques. The en suite was a good size. The service was excellent and we were made to feel most welcome. As the hotel took dogs at a very reasonable price they had a very secure garden to... More

This beautiful Victorian house in Exeter is a real find - it has off-street parking AND it is in easy walking distance of the city centre. We stayed in autumn last year as a family with one child. The interior is charming (the owner has an antiques business) - so a bit mystified by the "dated" comments here. Victorian houses... More

Nice small hotel, victorian style where my wife and stayed when visiting our daughter at Exeter University. It is close to the city centre but the main advantage for us was that we were able to take our dogs. Rooms comfortable and clean and the full english breakfast was simply fantastic! Would certainly recommend. More

B & B close to Exeter Central Station and easy walking distance from city centre and the cathedral. Raffles's USP is the Victorian furniture in every room. On a very grey, misty November day, this created a rather gloomy ambience. I could understand why for much of the 20th Century Victorian architecture and design was seen as "overdone" and even... We chose this b & b due to it's 15 minute walk to the cathedral where we needed to be each day for seven days. Our walk each day passed by several excellent restaurants to and from the cathedral and our hosts recommended several other places to dine. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and included... More

the b&b was very easy to find and close to the centre. The family running the the b&b were very friendly and welcoming. The room could have done with some updating, however the bed was comfortable. More

The house is very nice and has a beautiful garden that the guests can use. The interiour is lovely with its nice old furniture. And like the previous person says, probably from the antiques shop the owner runs as well. The owners are a very nice couple and they provide excellent service. Our room and bathroom was very clean and... More

The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortably furnished, with beautiful antiques. There was a particularly fabulous Campaign Desk, which I believe is part of a substantial collection of the owners who specialises in this type of furniture in his other business. The service was friendly and I was given a warm welcome. The breakfast was wonderful, with delicious cooked... More
