This hotel is conveniently situated in a pleasing semi-rural location just off the M5. Parts of the hotel are a little tired but the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Considering we paid £79 for the room (including a good brekkers) it represents good value and we would definitely return when visiting Exeter next. The... More

I was a little bit worried by some of the reviews I had about this hotel from here and also from friends and family. We had a three course wedding breakfast and evening reception for 85 people, they also had a wedding anniversary evening do and hotel guests to accomodate. You would of thought we had the hotel to ourselves... More

No vegetarian main meals on the dinner menu - to be fair the chef did knock up an excellent pasta dish but this is the 21st Century so don't feel I should have to ask. No vegetarian options for breakfast either. The 'Superior' double room a bit disappointing.

At first impressions as I drove up to the Hotel I was a little apprehensive, it looked a little tired and run down. The receptionist was very warm and pleasant, and booked me in politely and swiftly. The room I was given had a lovely outlook, but unfortunately had the kitchen extractor fan running up the outside of the wall,... More

We only stayed one night, would have loved to stay longer, maybe next time. Room was spotlessly clean, warm, comfy bed and a powerful shower. Breccy was a bufet for the hot stuff, bacon was perfect, sausages were scrummy and the black pudding was a real treat. Yogurt and fresh fruit was devine. Same price as Travelodge but a million... We arrived on our wedding anniversary, a weekend away without the children to celebrate it. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist. We were delighted with our room, it was large, airy and had a four poster bed - perfect for our romantic break. We ordered a bottle of champagne and chilled in our room before dinner. We found the...
