This hotel was recommended by an art dealer in Truro and it exceeded even our expectations. Beautiful position very friendly staff and the boss Frederica was always around to ensure that everything was as we wanted. The food was was excellent . We shall return. This level of service and quality comes at a cost but we are not complaining... More

Just returned from there. Great property and views! Room was below average for the price we paid. Don't understand why tea making facility was not available in the room. The furniture was mismatched. The grout in the bathroom tiles near the tap was dirty or discoloured! No mini bar. Staff and service were great always smiling and happy to help.... More

What a stunning location in a charming village.Great views over the estuary from our room and the restaurant. The matress on the bed was a little lumpy but good amenities and bathroom.Well trained and motivated staff lead to a warm friendly atmosphere.Food is good quality with fresh fish a feature. Quality like this comes at a price but the value of... More

This was a lovely treat by the sea. Parking is up and around the back of the hotel and access is down a large number of stone steps, not for people with walking difficulties. A valet parking service is available and passengers can be dropped off at the entrance on the lower sea road. The service is friendly and the... More

I took my elderly mother and aunt for lunch at the Tresanton and although I had previously enquired if it was wheelchair friendly, parking and getting the wheelchair up a steep hill was a trial. The staff were very friendly but I felt the food was not up to standard and was way overpriced for the quality and portions.

My wife and I recently had lunch at the Hotel Tresanton. This is the third time we have eaten at Tresanton and it has always been very good. Not perhaps to the same standard as GIdleigh Park Chagford (our favorite ) but certainly very good. The food and the setting was fine but for some reason the service ( although... More

We have just had another wonderful lunch at the Tresanton. We were lucky to find the sun out and so were able to sit on the deck overlooking the water - wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Just a delight.

This is marketed as a boutique hotel and I was expecting something rather special given the owners credentials. I felt rather let down when it turned out to be nice for sure but nothing particularly special. They make a virtue out of not having things like tea making facilities or trousers presses etc which is fine until you get the... More

We recently had our wedding breakfast at the Tresanton hotel and nothing was too much for the incredibly kind and considerate staff. They made the day run without fault or hiccup, ready to top up wine, carry a bride's train, create a pavlova tier, you name it, at the drop of a hat. Despite the hotel being incredibly luxurious and... More

I had arranged a stay at Tresanton as a surprise 70th birthday dinner for my father & our family. All of the staff and management were extremely helpful and professional and helped to keep the dinner a surprise (which, believe me, was no easy task!). Our family stayed in three different rooms, two couples in the main hotel and my... More
