Spent 5 days here with a coach-load of lovely folk from Wales. The owners Blanche and Mike came onboard our coach to greet us on our arrival. As we entered the hotel I thought it looked really nice and welcoming. We were handed the keys and made our way to our room, which on first sight looked fine. The carpets... More

My fiance and I have just returned from a coach tour to St Ives with Leisuretime Holidays, We stayed at the St Merryn Hotel. Great value for our money, very clean and comfortable. The hosts Mike and Blanche were so accomodating. My fiance who is a really picky sort of vegetarian eater was individually catered for, without any problem. Easy... More

I have just returned from a 4 day coach holiday to St Ives where i stayed at the St Merryn Hotel. I had a lovely stay. My bedroom, although old fashioned, was immaculately clean and very comfortable. I had a great sea view from my room which was a delight to look out on. There was plenty of hot water... More

Everything about the hotel was excellent and could be recommended to any body wishing to take a group of friends for a seaside break. The transport from the hotel is plentiful and regular. Entertainment is provided a couple of nights a week, you can even get a pack of dominoes if that is your wont. The food was plentiful, home... More

The only explanation to describe the St Merrryn Hotel is " Fabulous " the food in particular was superb, breckfast was comparable to some of the best 4 Star hotels I have stayed in. The friendly and obliging waitresses are a shinning example to all hoteliers througout the U K . The proprietors Mike and his wife are a shinning... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Ideal location and though we had a car with us there was a good bus service into St. Ives so we used that each evening, a good base to see the area. Hotel set back from the main road and quite imposing. Inside very dated but very clean, hallways needed a freshen up... More

Best hotel we've stayed in with Leisuretime tours. We were made very welcome by the owners who couldn;t do enough for everyone. Staff were very friendly & efficient. Food was excellent, room no 1 was comfortable & we had a great view towards the coast.Bar prices cheaper than the local pubs. Coastal path to St Ives across the road. Nothing... More
