A really clean B &B, very professionally run in a pleasant and courteous manner by both owner and staff. Cornerways met and in fact far exceeded my expectations which had been generated by the description on its website. As a guest house it sets a very high standard. Cornerways was my first stop on my 500 mile cycle ride for Leukaemia. Matt, the owner was very accommodating with a late check in, provided somewhere for me to store my bike, helped me with an evening snack and to get comfortable quickly for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was phenomenal! Great value for money and a quaint building!

“Fantastic little gem”

We stayed at cornerways for 3 nights in a lovely twin bedroom. The place is litrerally 2 mins walk from the station, but still in a very quiet and nice location. Matt Martens is a fantastic host and an even better cook. Highly recommended!

We felt very welcome by Matt the new German owner. He was always helpful when we had questions. He served the breakfast every morning with a smile and the cook did a lovely cooked breakfast which was very fresh. Room 1 was a lovely double room with plenty of room to move about and have suitcases out of the way.... More
