A very pleasant stay at the Avalon, located within easy walking distance of the town centre and well-placed for the A14 and M11. Comfortable and well-appointed room and a superb full English breakfast. Nice people in charge.Tremendously good value.

We stayed for two nights at Avalon and had complete satisfaction. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are excellent and cater for all tastes. Pat is a great host and gave us a warm welcome. If we go back to Cambridge Avalon is where we will stay. It was superb.

Avalon has been our B & B of choice when we have visited our son in Cambridge during the last 4 years. Pat and Chris are always welcoming, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the cooked breakfasts are excellent. We have never found a B & B to better it!

The rooms were attractively decorated and furnished, and both bedroom and en-suite were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent. Pat was such a helpful and lovely lady willing to assist with any of our enquiries would definately reccommend. Breakfast was always yummy and the situation of the b & b was perfect only 10mins walk to the heart of cambridge and the universities, sights and great pubs, really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Avalon for 11 nights. Every aspect of this B&B is excellent: atmosphere, facilities, cooking, cleanliness, quiet, proximity to the city center (bus #1 stops right outside the door every 10 mn, you can park anywhere or walk to town in 20 mn). The owners are attentive to the details and everything works perfectly. Cannot recommended enough.
