Even though I was booked in at very short notice the welcome was warm and very friendly. The room I as given was immaculate and Avril pointed me in the right direction to get myself an evening meal - just over the road. Breakfast was a feast, I could only manage the cooked meal but could have had cereal as... More

This was my first trip to Bristol on business. Easy to locate the guest house and a fantastic welcome on arrival. The room was spotlessly clean and had an en-suite. Car-parking available and use of the wifi. The owner Averill made me feel like part of the family. Breakfast was served at a time of my choosing and was a... More

Stayed here over night while visiting my sons in Bristol. Lovely stay, comfy beds, nice size room and with en-suite which is always a bonus. Although on a main road the double glazing and lined curtains made it a quiet stay. Very clean rooms and the lovely owner Averill made it easy to be comfortable here. Also a lovely breakfast,... We have visited Bristol twice a year since 1994 and tried several hotels and guest houses but since finding the Rookery we have not looked elsewhere. You receive a warm welcome as if one of the family. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and looks as though it has just been decorated. The rooms are generously provided with tea, coffee, biscuits etc.... Pristine room - Outstanding service - Best value! From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, everything was so perfect that we honestly could not find any flaws even if we tried. On short noticed, we were quite lucky to manage a booking for a one night stay during the week. Upon booking, I had made a special... More

What a lovely place. I recently put my family up at the rookery guest house when I did not have enough space at home. This is a great place to stay. Very friendly, very clean and a lovely breakfast. My dad loved the garden. I would recommend the rookery, Very very pleased.
