There is a carpark which is a public carpark, pay and display that you are provided a ticket for from reception when you check in so that you dont have to pay. the lady checking me in was very charming and more than helpful. i... From the moment we arrived we were pleased that we had picked to stay in such a lovely oldy worldy pub. Our room was lovely and clean and comfortable (if a little too warm) the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was also very good, especially the breakfast the following morning. More

My partner and I stayed here for one night on our way to somewhere else. Excellent location in a gorgeous little village and our room was really nice. Very modern and spotlessly clean for an old inn and although the bathroom was tiny it had everything in there you needed and again was modern and clean. We had room 15... More

My partner and I stayed at the Bowl Inn for one night only in September en route from visiting family in Cardiff and visiting more family the following day in Derby prior to our return to Lancashire. From the moment we saw it we were 'Bowled over' it is the sort of pub you see on postcards and in a... More

Very impressed with our overnight stop. Decent sized room which was clean and well equipped. Enjoyable evening meal and breakfast, using locally produce, with a blackboard explaining where the food was sourced.Good choice of 4 local real ales. Friendly efficent staff. Very handy for M5 as only 5 minutes away, and an idea stop over and offered excellent value. More

This inn was recommended by a colleague, and I'm very glad I took his advise. Lovely place, lots of character with lots of warmth from all the staff. Had lunch there which was ok, and a cooked breakfast in the morning which had a good selection of foods to choose from. My room was a good size, very comfy bed... More

Lovely pub/Inn in a lovely village. Very romantic and secluded but beware nosey locals! The local characters were really welcoming and friendly as were the staff. We had a nice meal (nothing special), just good quality pub food. The breakfast was a typical full English as one would expect. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Parking was free if... More

Met up with a visiting friend from Australia at the Bowl Inn, very convenient for both M5 and M4 just a mile from the juncction. Lovely pub, very friendly staff who looked after us very well. My friend being "vegan" the chef went out of his way to accommodate her for dinner and breakfast. Nice choice on menu and specials... More

The food at the bowl inn is good. The atmosphere is very nice, a small pub with bar seating and attached restaurant seating area. Service is always good and the price of food is fine for the quality. Best restaurant around the Bradley Stoke/Aztec west area of Bristol. The bar is nice with a good range of local Beers and... More

This place is in a great setting. Food is fairly cheap, and you get what you pay for. Restaurant service not fantastic though... Very very slow. More
