We were fortunate enough to stay at the Old Vicarage on 3-5 May 2013 because our friends were getting married in Hereford. From first contact until we finally waved goodbye Dinah and Julian (the owners) were warm, friendly and hospitable, going out of their way to give us any assistance they thought we might require. For example, my husband needed... More

We had a 'unique opportunity' to stay at The Old Vicarage, Clehonger, Herefordshire, HR2 9SE. Whilst waiting for our house in Hereford to be readied we stayed 14 days at this beautiful Guest House. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel relaxed by owners Julian and Dinah Jeffery.A roaring log fire in the lobby on a cold... More

The door opened and we were greated by Julian, Dinah and their georgous black labrador. The woodburner was alight and the place was so cosy, felt like home. The accomodation was great, very clean, nice furniture and vases of spring flowers everywhere. We were made to feel so welcome. Dexter our dog loved all the walks near by. Breakfast was... More

The Old Vicarage and the lovely couple that run it have entirely changed my viewpoint of staying at hotels over guest houses, much to their merit. Having stayed in hotels all around the world I must say this was one of my most pleasant stays in the UK. Dinah was constantly attentive to any needs, making sure everything was fine... More

Everything you could wish for in a British B&B - The house is situated in a very quiet semi rural location with good off street parking and is ideally placed to explore Hereford in one direction and the Golden Valley in the other. The bedroom we stayed in for four days was a good size and beautifully furnished, although it's... More

We stayed here for 2 nights with our dog. We stayed in the suite with a separate entrance which was great for the dog, it had a small sitting room and 2 toilets. Wonderful breakfast with homemade marmalade and bread, friendly and helpful hosts. Handy for touring around the Hereford area. Would definitely visit again. Very dog friendly.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Had an evening meal there which was excellent, the breakfast the following morning just as impressive. Would have been nice to stay longer than one night, would highly recommend for any that wants to stay near Hereford, definitely more relaxing and individual than hotels in Hereford

10/10 for everything apart from the Wifi which I hope will be better when I visit again in March! The hosts are great. Breakfast top draw, with great produce. The B&B was nicer than most 4Star hotels, the room was amazing and tastefully decorated throughout. Not given to hyperbole, but the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The building's... More

This is the nicest guest house I've stayed in and due to my job I've stayed in a lot. The food is exquisite and the house it self is beautiful with a lovely garden but what sets this guest house above from the rest is the excellent standard of customer service. You are made very welcome as soon as you... More
