Arrived and found a very dark reception to then be told about the previous owner running off and having to pay again - £59 - still awaiting refund from KGB. Manager very friendly and showed us to our room. Bedding clean, spotless bathroom, but a filthy carpet (take slippers). We were in room 16 and the matress was extremely hard.... More

I am sorry that you have not received your refund from KGB if your the person who I think you are!! I am a bit amazed why they seem to leave you out of the loop, I have made several requests on your behalf and haven't had a reply back as yet, please keep me in the picture as I... More

My daughter bought this deal as a Christmas present. KGB voucher. When we booked we were told that you had to pay the manager then get a refund from the company issuing the voucher. In this case the refund will go to my daughter who has to sort it out and will then refund us. What a nightmare. No explanation... More

The new manager honoured the price of our KGB deal. We had a lovely stay. The house itself is large and comfortable. Its location is great for walkers. Our room was good. Clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was very good. This B & B has a lot of potential and I wish the new manager well.

Took my family and my partners family for the weekend on a deal.. although the hotel was a little chaotic as its just under new management, the staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way. The rooms are simple but really nice and in a barn annex. We had a family room with a separate kids room... More

Recently returned from this lovely hotel on the Tissington Trail. Only very recently acquired by owner Clive. Our room was part of the stable block, which was a lovely room and en suite bathroom with characteristic beam ceilings running throughout. Plenty of choice for the cold buffet breakfast, along with as much tea or coffee as you desired. Clive has... More
