Stayed at Greenbank prior to our cruise.Sue was in her beautiful garden, working when we arrived, she was very welcoming. We were made to feel right at home.Lovely room spotlessly clean, as was everywhere else.Sue obviously cares about her guests and their comforts. breakfast was lovely.....boiled eggs and soldiers...hmmm. takes me back!! Lovely flowers and pheasants in the yard, delicious breakfasts, great hiking nearby, friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay. We especially loved being able to walk out of the B&B and immediately begin our hike in the hills and farms right across the street. We only stayed at this B&B one night as we were en route to Cotswolds but it was an utmost delight. The hosts, Sue and Paul, were kind and gracious, the guests rooms had a private outdoor entrance. Greenbank and Bowerchalke are a real oasis of calm in a busy world. My visit was to make the most of a one day break in a hectic work schedule. Sue and Paul are lovely hosts and my room was spotless. We loved this place and especially Sue and Paul, who did everything to make us feel welcome. They were very helpful and thought along with our plans.
