We stayed 3 days at the Alpines, and we loved it here. Peaceful and quiet with a great view. There isn't much to do in Field, but it is the place to be for hikers (outdoor sports) and skiing etc. And you definitely should stay in this nice little house, that finds itself below the owners house. But you've got... More

Our family of 6 spent one week here, lots of room, great kitchen facilities, wonderful view from the living room and deck! Hans and Lucy and Naomi were kind hosts. We drove from Field to Golden to raft, up the Icefield Parkway to hike, hiked many trails in Yoho including Lake Ohara and Wapta Falls. Went up Mt Stephen with... More

Hans and Lucy run a wonderful guest house: they are warm , friendly, and very helpful . The apartment is generous in every aspect: size, furnishings, kitchen, and bedroom. The village is charming, the views are spectacular, and we found the location more attractive than Banff or Lake Louise. we highjly redcommend it!! cynthia and Ilan Rubin, Jerusalem, Israel. PS... It is a very comfortable apartment, very well equipped and a great place to come back to in the evning after a days walking and sightseeing. Nice touch is the collection of DVD's and videos... More

We stayed in this property for 3 nights. The accomodation has all the equipment required for our short stay. Unfortunately we did not meet the owners during our stay. We were greeted with a note on their door informing us how to access the accomodation. A friend of the owners came to see us in the evening to ensure everything... More

We stayed here three nights in July at a rate of $250 per night. The base rate was $185 and then there was a $35 fee per night for each of our two children. That seemed a bit high for the kids. I think I'd rather see a higher rate and then a lower additional rate for kids like most... More

A supurb accommodation in the mountains. Quiet, comfortable beds, your own kitchen, clean. The hosts, Hans and Lucy, make sure you have everything you need. It was our first trip to Canada and we were happy to find such a wonderful accommodation to stay for a few days. We can really recommend this place.
