My husband Dennis god the job in Golden, BC to renovate the bathroom and the kitchen splash. It happened to be in the Golden Larches B & B. We had been delighted by the hosts and the home. Not too far from the town, totally peaceful and a beautiful setting in by the forest. We spend five days with Kathleen... More

I stayed at the Golden Larches for four nights in September 2012. I can truly say I had an excellent experience. One often hears of B&Bs touting their establishment as 'your home away from home,' but these words seem to fall short to describe the Golden Larches (for starters, at home I would be unable to have the kind of... My wife and I stayed here for two nights during a visit to the national parks. The location is about 10 minutes outside of Golden on a nice country property. It's a good location for exploring the surrounding national parks. (Banff, Yoho, Glacier, Radium and Kootenay National Parks). Ken and Kathleen were very helpful in suggesting local restaurants and sites... More

We stopped here for just one night to break up a long journey down to Peachland. THe B & B was very comfortable and clean but we did not like the fact that the rooms were partyl below ground and therefore you only had small windows at the top of the room - you couldn't see out which was a... More

We stayed here for 4 nights during the heat wave this July. Ken assured us the rooms would be nice and cool even though he does not have air conditioning and they were wonderful. The bed was nice and firm and the ensuite made or stay very nice. Although Kathleen was away during our entire stay, Ken made us a... More

We would love to have stayed here but due to a minor admin. problem it was double booked. The owner was fantastically helpful in finding us an alternative, which turned out to be very nice as well. The short time we spent at Golden Larches, it looked very nice and it was in a great location. We would be happy... More

We stopped for one night at the Golden Larches on our way from Calgary to Revelstoke. The B&B is situated 10 minutes north of Golden, in a very beutiful and peaceful spot, very close to nature. To go to Golden for dinner was no trouble. We got a very good tip from Ken and Kathleen to go to the Turning... More

In late July, we visited Golden Larches with our son and stayed for two nights. Golden Larches is in a convenient and quiet location, on a pretty country property with beautiful mountain views. The home is lovely and the guest rooms are most comfortable. Kathleen and Ken are really kind and generous hosts. They know Golden well and are happy... More
