Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Drab little motel with drive-up parking out of the 50's. Over-inflated marketing. The pictures are not even close to reality. Front desk is friendly, but not helpful. We are not picky, but would NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Bathroom ceiling is peeling and gross. Heater is out of motel 6. Our price wasn't great, but I'll bet people pay more. Believe it or not the place had no vacancy on Friday night when we rolled in (suckers like us). And by the way, you can't cancel even if you try.

This was one of the finest and most personal hotel experiences we have ever had. Every detail is considered from towels and sheets to afternoon drinks and snacks. Breakfast was delicious with many options. We loved that a dog friendly room was offered. Staff was personable and fun.

The front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and our request for an extra pillow was taken care of immediately. The rooms are what you’d expect in a basic motel but the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The microwave, coffee maker and fridge were useful to us as we were on a touring holiday. Lots of restaurants within walking distance of the motel and live music in the town square. Would definitely return.

The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Hotel is worn and outdated. If you’ve paid more than $100 (including taxes), you’ve paid too much. Hotels are generally expensive in Revelstoke in the summer. Not at the stay at again list unless we’re stuck.

Very comfortable, well priced. I slept really well. Convenient location. Nothing fancy. Clean and able to keep windows open for fresh air. Coffee in the room, real cups and glasses. I was glad to find something reasonable at the ladt minute. Lots of restaurants walking distance. I ended up at Old School Eatery. Delicious.

We have stayed here many times over the years. It is our goto accommodation. Clean, comfortable rooms. James, his family, and staff are excellent. They will bend over backwards to help make your stay an enjoyable one.we highly recommend this affordable accommodation, which is a short walk from restaurants, shopping, and hiking trails.

We always read the reviews before we rent, but we must have missed a bunch of stuff. It is clean and the front desk folks are awesome but the room...bleah! Beds are very low to ground and fairly firm. The bed quilt needs to be replaced as is extremely heavy. We had to use our bed spread and turf what came with the room. Our 2 beds were squeesed into the room an able to get in and out on one side. Lighting is poor and the room felt dark. Bathroom sink area had room but shower was small and low water pressure. Had to be very careful getting out of the shower as floor is over slanted for drainage and we both slipped getting out. No tub. Very over priced for what we got.

Simple review like a simple hotel. It's clean, it's tidy, it's incredibly convenient to walk into downtown and get dinner and a beer. So it has those things going for it. But it's also overpriced by a wide margin and front desk service is friendly, but limited. Gone by 8pm and no one around in early morning hours----with a bit of a do it yourself atmosphere. Feels like being taken advantage of, but then again---most Revelstoke properties are also priced this way. Stayed just one night, then went and camped elsewhere.

Great comfortable stay This little hotel is a good affordable stay. The room was a good size and clean, a little dusty on the side tables. Older hotel, but well maintained. When we checked in the gentleman at the front desk was lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Changed our room when I asked for one that would be more quiet. Location is great. Revelstoke is a small town, so staying anywhere I'm sure is fine. Room has coffee, mini fridge, microwave and TV with lots of channels.

Friendly service, clean rooms, good location in middle of town, stores nearby, lower priced, basic motel. Very soft beds. Perfect for smokers with convenience of chairs outside the rooms, but not so much for non smokers, and if you want your window open, as your room will fill with second hand smoke.
