Location - This hotel is nicely located in Truro, easy access to all the conveniences, yet still a quiet area. The Hotel - although we did not get an opportunity to use it, there is an indoor pool and fitness centre. There is a lounge and restaurant on site. We did not use the lounge, but the restaruant was very... More

There don't appear to be many choices of hotels in the Truro area but even if there were this is the place to stay. We received a friendly greeting upon arrival and were permitted to check in early (about 2 hours before the "official" check-in time. The room was clean and equipped with all the usual amenities. The heater/air conditioner... More

I stayed at the Truro Holiday Inn in November 2011. I was on a business trip in the Truro area and needed somewhere comfortable to sleep, hit the gym and go for a quick swim. The Holiday Inn was my preferred option in Truro. Gov. Rate was 99$ a night so nothing to complain about there. Staff was courteous and... More

We left Halifax and drove south to Liverpool and then west to The Bay of Fundy. Our goal was to get to Stellarton that night, but we quickly realized that was too long of a day. We changed our reservation to Truro and had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very good, offering many nearby choices for restaurants. It... More

My mom and I stayed here for one night while passing through Truro. This hotel was easy to locate and check-in was fast and friendly. However, this hotel seems very old. The rooms could definitely use an update. They seemed very dark and dated. The hotel also doesn’t supply free breakfast which I thought was strange for a Holiday Inn.... More

Nice fairly-new hotel. Free outdoor parking. Our room had a coffee-maker, full bath, free local calls. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was a computer in the lobby, free as well. Dinner at the restaurant was good. We would recommend this place(try for the CAA rate). More

Stayed at the Holiday Inn during a wedding weekend. Was not part of the wedding party but could hear the music clearly in my hotel room. Called the front desk at 1230 am and was told the music will be off at 1 am. That is when the party started in the room beside me until 330 am. When checking... More

Good hotel with clean / new rooms, restaurant, pool etc. Restaurant was well above average for a hotel. We had a nice steak and lobster dinner. Also a good base to explore bay of fundy. More

We were expecting an OK place, but were quite surprised at how nice our room was. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. The bar was very nice, too. No complaints, and if we ever go through Truro again, we would definitely stay here. More
