I ended up here after being kicked out by ponsonby back packers for no id. The room wasnt the ritz but after a 11 hour trip from wellington i was more than happy with it. I got a good nights sleep and thats all i required. Jono of ponsonby backpackers take note of what good customer service is .

The owner was extremely rude - excuse me for trying to give you business on a weekend! Noisy rooms - as they are on a major motorway on ramp road not noisy from the bar - they didn't have many customers, the owner must have scared them off already AVOID

The staff's not very friendly the manager was downright rude and inhospitable.

The windows would not close properly. The beds were uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty. There was no internet. The decor needed updating. I would not return to this place. It was cheap though.
