Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ideal location but the hardstand area for caravans in the adult section is now over run with tents on the grass area with cars parked on the hardstands. Management need to implement the rules. There is a designated area for tents. Bad show ..

Lovely family run campsite. Very friendly with loads of activities for the kids. We love that it is dog friendly too. We stayed in a tent in the family part. Nice site and great that our car was right beside us.

Stayed in this campsite for 2 nights, late July...1st day raining, but there was plenty of indoor activities to keep the kids happy... Next day weather was great..So we got out and about the campsite..Great play parks ,swings zip-lines slides etc..Archery was great fun to try...Go Carts for older kids/adults, Safari Cars for younger ones and "Off Road"trucks for age 6-10 yr olds...all these activities were very good and well run and also well maintained.. Restaurant, bar and Chippy all on site..Pizza place 5 min walk for anyone not wanting to bbq or cook...Also a Grocery shop across the way.. Pool table , ping pong tables available..and sports hall can also be booked... Toilets and shower rooms were very very clean and kept that way Great Campsite ,loads to do ,loads to see...

Came here for a summer holiday in tent. From moment of booking online to departure we have had an excellent service. Friendliest owners and staff, very helpful. Site overall is kept in immaculate condition, toilet/shower blocks cleanest of all the campsites we been to over the years. As we in adult only area plenty of tent spaces and lots of space for caravans and campervans. Thank you for letting us extend our vacation Nonnie. This is our top campsite and will definitely be returning every year. Congratulations on such a great family run business and the new additions are fabulous looking. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to vacation in Wicklow area. From Audrey and Nicole Burns, Tubbercurry, Sligo originally Cavan 😂. Thanks again for such a wonderful breakaway.

Unbelievable, tents on hard pitches on the 2rd level, no where to park a camper or caravan. What happened to the rules in the Secret Garden !! Caravans going around looking for a place and can't get one. Something needs to be done.

Just booked in one night and didn't stay.were told to just pick a pitch in young dreamers but could find decent pitch, only one free was beside tap and was wet and kids playing around it. Did archery and karting ..karting was too expensive, cost almost 90 for 3 of us. Had toke. System for food and drink..6 euro for a pint, which is too expensive..wouldn't go back

Myself and my husband spent 3 days here with our 2 boys (4 and 11) and really enjoyed our stay. It is the best campsite we have stayed in for kids. There is so much for them to do and none of it is expensive. The kids club run by starlight studios is excellent and has a variety of activities for all ages. The facilities were clean a d had everything we needed. We stayed in our own camper but made use of what was on offer. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall we couldn't fault anything and will definitely be back here again soon.

Visited in July. The rain poured down for 2 days. But we enjoyed the stay. Loads to do with jewellery making and art classes etc. All activites cost extra so unless you have loads of cash pick choose carefully. Great playground and splash pad when the sun eventually made an appearance. Huge campsite loads to do. Good clean facilities. Very safe for kids and bikes Hedges between each site so very private, very well laid out. Basic kitchen no fridge/freezers, 2 sinks and 2 hobs. Showers cost €1 each. Chipper (cash only) good food. Pub never visited so can't comment Well stocked shop directly across the road.

The site itself was really good. Fantastic amenities and a good variety of activities easily booked online ahead or on the day. The campout area super, big space for kids to play. Mexican food truck did the best nachos! Tacos were delicious also. You could also order local beers. The thing that let it all down was the noise levels at night. Huge party going on behind us (line of bushes separating us) two nights in a row. Urinating in bushes meant friends tent got wet. Also kids running around until well after midnight. On two occasions one of our friends went to find security (we had spotted three guys earlier in the night) emails and calls went unanswered also. Security visited them about 11.10 but they just made a joke. It eventually quietened down around 2am. Kids were absolutely wired trying to sleep. This security deposit for friends camping doesn't work as we were three families who camped together but didn't pay anything. Been to other sites were people are just asked to leave. They really need to look at their policy/security to clamp down on this. It's this reason we won't return to the site. Not getting more than 4/5 hours sleep a few nights in a row is a deal breaker!
