We have camped in nearly every caravan park in Ireland but keep coming back to River Valley. As far as we are concerned its tops, ticks all the boxes we want for an enjoyable break for ourselves and the family. Friendly staff, well kept toilet and shower blocks which are cleaned five or six times a day. Good restaurant reasonably... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights at River Valley in mid-August last year. We stayed in "Secret Garden", an area of the park which is for adults only. It suited us perfectly - no kids, no footballs, no bikes, just peace and quiet. Even the pub restaurant called Mickey Finns had an adult section where we ate each evening.... More

Went to river valley for years and i must say the treatment that people are getting is nothing new and the trouble around the site was the same when i stayed there. You will never get the truth from the owners and they say they depend on campers returning is not true either. It is one of the only sites... More

I had to add a comment after reading a lot of negative reviews for this campsite. We have been camping around Ireland for the past ten years and have to say that this campsite tops the lot. When you have young children ,11pm is late enough for quiet time.We were delighted to see this rule at Rivervalley. We looked up the campsites... Stayed here for 4 nights mid august. Site is fine and the tent pitches are a good size, level and have electricity. The site isn't the cleanest either with the bins overflowing (we were there for 5 days) and lots of sweet wrappers etc lying around. The toliet block weren't the cleanest either. Unfortunately this site is too near Dublin... More

This was our 3rd visit to River valley. We stayed in the Secret garden area of the holiday park which is adult only . The quality of the site is very good with level pitches and clean facilities. We have never had any problems with security on the site but they obviously do a good job as we have never... More

We booked a 3 bedroom standard caravan and were very dissapointed. Firstly I had to go straight out and buy an airfreshner. I think the previous occupants must have been smokers but it had an awful smell. There had been no hoovering done either as the carpets in the bedrooms were very dirty. The mattress was one of the most... More
